God outside the Box
In yesterday's post entitled
So, to conclude yesterday's article and segue into today's I will say that we don't want to confine our wonderful creator to the small box of our limited understanding or to false religion. Let's get True Faith!
"17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." -Romans 10:17
What do I mean when I say "God outside the box?" In the light of the analogy that I used yesterday, I am trying to describe how mankind has limited his own understanding of God. God really can't be limited or controlled, but it can seem that way to those who don't understand. If you have God in a box like man-made religion, only you can change that by changing your thinking. So what is He really like? Let's take a look at Jesus, since He is the true Son of God.
The miracles of Jesus: How did Jesus do the miracles? How did He walk on water, or raise the dead? How did He multiply the loaves and the fishes, or calm the storm? How did He ascend into heaven?
It is much simpler than we think. ...He created all the laws of physics and mathematical possibility etc. So those laws don't have power over Him. He is not confined to the laws of the physical universe the same way we are! The laws of the universe are not "boundaries" to Him! So for Him, it is natural to do what we mere mortals consider to be "miracles!" What we call "supernatural" is God's normal everyday nature! When He raised Lazarus from the dead,: "25Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:" -John 11:25
How does God overcome these boundaries and laws that limit us? The same way He created those boundaries and laws. ...By faith!
We need to see and recognize that this is God's true nature. When we get a hold of this reality and choose to Believe our faith then begins to grow!
"6But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." -Hebrews 11:6
For those skeptics who say the miracles of Jesus in the bible are fake or are made up, or they say things like "prove it!", to them I would say: "faith is the key."
"1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." -Hebrews 11:1 and...
"...blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." -John 20:29
When our faith is in God where it belongs instead of false religions, then God for us is no longer in a box! God is outside the box. In fact, He is bigger and His faith is bigger than the vast universe and our understanding of it! And He is faith. Even so, His understanding is imparted to us through our faith that He has given us, and by the study of His Word.
God in a box,I wrote a little about His creation of the universe and our shortcomings as humans to comprehend Him. If you didn't read it, I suggest you do that first before reading this article. But that's ok if you don't want to. You'll be missing out on a little. This article today is really Part 2 of that article from yesterday.

God in a Box
God is bigger than the box we put Him in!
Let me explain what I mean by that. We live in an environment of boundaries. Those boundaries are everywhere and they are comprised of the elements of God's creation.
When God created... well, everything, He did it in a way that limits things. The laws of Physics were established by Him at the creation, along with the various elements, like light and matter. (Think of the chart of elements.) He established spacial dimension, time and all mathematical possibility. Not to mention the spirit realm with the all of the angels.
Thinking about the greatness of God and the vastness of the universe just makes us feel like little specks of dust. God gathered up some of those specks of dust, and He made man out of it. Then He commanded man (man & woman) to procreate.
God created man, and He placed him within these boundaries which had been set up. Then He gave man a command not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. That also was a boundary.
So why all these boundaries. Well with the universe being so large and dangerous, if God didn't set boundaries for us, we would hurt ourselves. So He did it out of love for us. There is no telling what kind of trouble mankind would've gotten into if there were no boundaries placed on us. I mean look what trouble mankind has done with the boundaries in place!
So, we are limited in our thinking and our understanding of the things of God. Some people deny being limited, but it is just a fact of reality. Sin limits us even further.
"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." -1 Corinthians 2:14
Sin has limited mankind to the point where he goes on living in separation from God, and therefore becomes programmed or brainwashed into wrong thinking. From this ungodly type of thinking he establishes religion which is his sinful way of trying to find his creator God. But with false man-made religion all fallen man has done is try to create a boundary for God. Or,...a box. Now with the man-made box of false religion, man continues to live on in a sinful condition trying to find his creator God. I call it a box because usually false religion tries to "control" God, and tell Him who He is, putting Him in a box.
The only true way that sinful man can overcome these boundaries is through Faith. If we put our faith in His Son Jesus Christ, we shall be saved!
"8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast." -Ephesians 2:8,9
With our culture making all kinds of movies about venturing through space, breaking the distance barriers, And dreaming about time travel, (which are just boundaries set in place by God), Maybe we can come to recognize why God established these limits for us. Then we could humble ourselves before Him, and trust and look to Him for fulfilling or healing all of those boundary breaking desires.

Is God impressed with you ?
You could go on a fast for days or even weeks. You could pray a really long time. Maybe you give your money to the church, or to a charity organization. Maybe you read your bible a lot and underline the verses for memorization.
Maybe you think God is impressed with you!
Maybe, ...
...don't think this is what makes you a "good" Christian. You may be further along in spiritual things than somebody else (and proud of it). But don't ever forget where you came from. Don't forget...
...It was Jesus, who came down to our level as a human! Who suffered through rejection, beatings, and mockings. Then crucifixion, and death! So that you, and i could be saved from damnation.
Let us not forget, that "God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble." -1 Peter 5:5
"3For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God." -Romans 10:3

Israeli commando raid harshly critisized
This news story about Israeli commando's in their raid on the Turkish vessels is interestingly causing great concern.
Israel has been protecting their shores, and they should have a right to. Everyone knows when there is a military operation with casualties like this, that it is going to be investigated by the international community. And that is fine.
However, I want to point out something strange. Notice how everyone is angrily jumping all over Israel for doing this. Or the media hatefully portrays Israel as "evil" for protecting their territory.
Even if the USA or another country did something like this, it may be in the news, but the level of hate expressed in the media, or the comments left under news articles on line is never this much as it is toward Israel.
I see hatred and anger coming toward Israel from everywhere. Even from people in the USA.
God has warned the nations of the world NOT to divide HIS land that He gave to the Jews! And situations like this one are stirring up enough commotion that it makes you wonder when there is going to be a serious escalation of war over there.
I am concerned that many people and governments in this world seem to be unaware or oblivious to God's warning not to divide the land of Israel. Many of these people don't know God, and therefore don't take Him seriously. Nor do they realize how dangerous it is for them to ignore what God said!
It is situations precisely like this Israeli commando operation, that will trigger World War III. I know that some say WWIII has already been started on 911. But we haven't seen it escalate yet! It will grow a lot worse if the hatred for Israel continues to build.
Other triggers to a world war are North Korea attacking south Korean ships and the like. The economy which I don't have to tell you is another reason for drastic change.
I think everybody can feel that something BIG is getting ready to take place. And it is going to be a WORLD WIDE chain of events that will shake everything that we believe in and what we are used to!
I can tell you that there are plans to integrate a New World Order! Many of the US presidents announced this when they were in office. That has been in the works for quite some time now. But for them to make it official, they need things like global warming; a failing world wide economy; (maybe even the worst oil spill in history) and instances of Israel looking bad when trying to protect their God-given land!
We need to pray for Israel! And we need to be ready for what is about to fall on this world!
May you take heed to the warnings that are hitting us from every side. And may God be with you.
