Is God impressed with you ?
You could go on a fast for days or even weeks. You could pray a really long time. Maybe you give your money to the church, or to a charity organization. Maybe you read your bible a lot and underline the verses for memorization.
Maybe you think God is impressed with you!
Maybe, ...
...don't think this is what makes you a "good" Christian. You may be further along in spiritual things than somebody else (and proud of it). But don't ever forget where you came from. Don't forget...
...It was Jesus, who came down to our level as a human! Who suffered through rejection, beatings, and mockings. Then crucifixion, and death! So that you, and i could be saved from damnation.
Let us not forget, that "God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble." -1 Peter 5:5
"3For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God." -Romans 10:3
"8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast." -Ephesians 2:8,9

Israeli commando raid harshly critisized
This news story about Israeli commando's in their raid on the Turkish vessels is interestingly causing great concern.
Israel has been protecting their shores, and they should have a right to. Everyone knows when there is a military operation with casualties like this, that it is going to be investigated by the international community. And that is fine.
However, I want to point out something strange. Notice how everyone is angrily jumping all over Israel for doing this. Or the media hatefully portrays Israel as "evil" for protecting their territory.
Even if the USA or another country did something like this, it may be in the news, but the level of hate expressed in the media, or the comments left under news articles on line is never this much as it is toward Israel.
I see hatred and anger coming toward Israel from everywhere. Even from people in the USA.
God has warned the nations of the world NOT to divide HIS land that He gave to the Jews! And situations like this one are stirring up enough commotion that it makes you wonder when there is going to be a serious escalation of war over there.
I am concerned that many people and governments in this world seem to be unaware or oblivious to God's warning not to divide the land of Israel. Many of these people don't know God, and therefore don't take Him seriously. Nor do they realize how dangerous it is for them to ignore what God said!
It is situations precisely like this Israeli commando operation, that will trigger World War III. I know that some say WWIII has already been started on 911. But we haven't seen it escalate yet! It will grow a lot worse if the hatred for Israel continues to build.
Other triggers to a world war are North Korea attacking south Korean ships and the like. The economy which I don't have to tell you is another reason for drastic change.
I think everybody can feel that something BIG is getting ready to take place. And it is going to be a WORLD WIDE chain of events that will shake everything that we believe in and what we are used to!
I can tell you that there are plans to integrate a New World Order! Many of the US presidents announced this when they were in office. That has been in the works for quite some time now. But for them to make it official, they need things like global warming; a failing world wide economy; (maybe even the worst oil spill in history) and instances of Israel looking bad when trying to protect their God-given land!
We need to pray for Israel! And we need to be ready for what is about to fall on this world!
May you take heed to the warnings that are hitting us from every side. And may God be with you.
